To supply, temporary electrical services to several hundred employees working on rebuilding a ship.

Specifications;

  • Must be Safe
  • Must be portable
  • Must be installed by non skilled labour.
  • Must be easily relocated as work     progresses
  • Must provide socket outlets to meet local conditions.
  • Must provide safe single phase and three phase power supplies.
  • Must be recoverable for reinstallation on the next project.

 

 Equipment Supplied;

 

 

Lifeguard 83, 350A master distribution board for direct connection to generator or mains supply,  incorporates 13A, 32A and 63A sockets outlets to supply local hand tools and Lifeguard portable switchboards. Also 2 x 16A cee sockets for temporary work lights.

      

 

Lifeguard 17, portable outlet board,   63A in and cascading, 6 x 13A BS1363 sockets and 8 x 32A Cee welding sockets and 2 lighting sockets

Lifeguard Interconnecting cables; 63A 3p+n+earth screened flexible,16mm conductors,  20m, 30m and 40m lengths complete with plugs and connectors fitted.

Shipping and storage;

The quantity of Lifeguard equipment shipped to this client filled a 40’ container, which was suitably engineered to secure the load, to create an onsite store for the equipment and a workshop.  Provision was made for the installation of electrical services, lighting, test bench and air conditioning.  The exterior was painted and marked with the clients livery.

Equipment, delivering power supplies over a large area with maximum safety to the end user.
For more than 3 decades, Lifeguard has been used on most New Zealand construction sites. 

Lifeguard Electrical Safety Systems are now often seen on major sites in Australia.

Lifeguard excels as a distribution system on High Rise buildings as well as the flatter mining and refining projects.

Lifeguard Electrical Safety Systems are based on the IEC standard for Assemblies for Construction
Sites (ACS) and can be modified to suit the local environment.

 Lifeguard Electrical Safety Systems will be represented at the ’09 Big 5 Trade Show in Dubai.

Lifeguard feeder cables are ‘Earth Screened’ flexible safety cable that can be relocated as required.

Lifeguard uses single phase socket to the English BS1363 13A and Cee type IEC60309 three phase sockets.

Lifeguard simply unplugs…and shipped to the next site, ready for safe continued use.
