STARTER SOCKETS

Starter sockets are the connecting devices most commonly used to connect the modular soft wiring to the fixed wiring of the building.

 Female Starter Sockets

Female Starter Sockets are the connecting devices most commonly used to connect the modular soft wiring to the fixed wiring of the building. This type of connector is small enough for use in most ducted wall skirtings, inside partitions or screens and similar positions where space is limited and a surface mounted wall starter is not practical.

Starter Sockets are available in 3 different types of connectors, GST (New), ST (Old style) and Ensto (Colour coding option).

Note: Starter Sockets must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Wall starter Sockets

Wall starters are the mechanism by which softwiring is started. it is the point at which the termination of the "hardwiring" TPS cable a connector occurs, this is always a female connector.

Wall starters are generally positioned in the same location as you might use a conventional power outlet, except in this case they are a dedicated latching 20A socket and are at the commencement of the softwired circuitry.

Wall Starter Sockets are available in 3 different types of connectors, GST, ST and Ensto.
